Friday Catechism Registration:
Catechism Classes for Grade 3 onwards will commence on Friday 17 September. For Grade 1 and 2 these will commence on Friday 24 September.
Registration for Friday Catechism, for both new and renewals is ongoing every Friday after all masses at the Basement room B-15. The following documents are required for the registration:
Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate:
Photocopy of First Holy Communion certificate for those who received.
Certificate of attendance from previous Parish or School.
Age Limit: 6 to 17 years old.

Sacrament of Confirmation for Adults - Preparation Course
A special course is being arranged to prepare adults to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Classes will be held once a week, every Thursday evening from 7.30 pm to 9 p.m, commencing on Thursdahy, 23 September 2010.
Those adults and youth above 17 years of age who have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation and wish to do so, please register and attend the classes. Registration forms are available at the Parish Office.
Please note that to be married in the Church, it is essential to have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Click here for additional details.
Celebration of the Feast of the Nativity of our Blessed Virgin Mary:
Konkani community will celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of our Blessed Virgin Mary on Friday 10 September at 10.15 a.m. Holy Mass will be followed by flower festival at the Grotto and distribution of Blessed new corn. All Konkani speaking people are welcome.
Regular English Mass at 10.15 a.m. will be at main hall.

Wedding Anniversary Mass: Friday 10 September 2010 at 4.45 pm:
Commencing this month, the Wedding Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on the second Friday of the month. This month therefore, the Weddning Anniverary Mass will be on Friday 10 September at 4.45 pm.for couples celebrating their Wedding anniversary during the month of September. Advance registration in the Parish Office.
Bible Study Programme:
St. Mary’s Church, Dubai announces the launch of the Parish level Bible Study for Adults as part of its new faith Formation Ministry. The Bible Study will be launched on Monday, 6 September 2010 and will be held every Monday in the Main Church. The timings for the Bible Study will from 7.30 p.m to 9.15 p.m. This Bible Study is open to everyone and all parishioners are encouraged to attend in order to have a faith deepening experience through developing a strong Scripture based faith foundation.
Kids Bible Ministry will also run during the same time to look after children coming with their parents.
World Youth Day 2011
Application forms for WYD 2011 are all sold out. Those who do have the forms please submit your filled applications to the Parish Office at the earliest. Last date for submission is Wednesday, 15 September. After this date, applications will NOT be accepted.
Mass Wedding - 2 December 2010
St. Mary’s Catholic Church Dubai will be hosting a mass wedding ceremony on the 2 December 2010 for the benefit of couples to receive the holy sacrament of matrimony. Registration is open till 31 October 2010 at the parish office. Click here for additional details.
The Audio Visual Ministry is looking for volunteers:
Audio Visual Ministry looks after all the projections, and visual aid that you see in and around the church. The primary purpose of this ministry is to assist the large congregation like ours to view and participate effectively in the Mass. To be part of this ministry, one should have the basic knowledge of computer operations. Trouble-shooting ability will be an added advantage.
